To place an order for a pet portrait, I'll need a decent photo to work from: a clear, in-focus shot of your pet that captures his or her unique personality and character. Background stuff doesn't matter, and some incidental stuff in the foreground I can usually work around. The better quality the image, the better detail I can put into the portrait.
